Our car broke down and the staff was so genuinely helpful! Our car is also a European car so a lot of other mechanics are not familiar with the machine but the staffs here really went out of their way to ask around and research it up. It's also near Christmas time ( few days away) so it's understandable for a lot of mechanics not be able to diagnose and fix our car before Christmas. We were not from Te Anau so we were so worried our car and us got trapped here for a few days ( or even worse, to be towed to Dunedin to get fixed because the car power is loss, we could only drive for 30km max) and the staff really put effort and time to have a look at it quickly. In fact, he was able to fix it within the same day because they knew we were all the way from Dunedin. He also found the battery problem that othe mechanics did not find as well. He informed us and explained the problem very well. They are the best types of mechanics who dont try to find flaws to charge you more and genuinely want to get the best for you! Absolutely impressed!

Exceptionally good and immediate service. After driving our motorhome to Mavoura Lakes over rough, gravel roads we were driving toward Te Anua one morning a couple of weeks ago when we were flashed by other cars and stopped to find the electrical wiring had dropped out of the back of the left hand side of our motorhome and was dragging on the ground. We stopped in the driveway of a farm and the farm owner drove in and asked if we were ok. We asked her do you know of a good auto electrician?" She referred us to Te Anau Auto Electrical Ltd. It was great! They assessed the problem straight away. Told us to come back at 2pm. We did that and they fixed the problem immediately as promised and the cost was very reasonable. We were so pleased. As many motorhome owners will testify

They explained us exactly what the problem is and what our options are and were very considerate of our budget. We are very glad we came here and would choose this garage again 100 times.

What a team. Had an accident in our motorhome which resulted in the rear bumper being ripped off, which consisted of all the rear lights! The team manufactured some brackets & rigged up some temporary lights so we could safely travel home. They kindly let us use a loan vehicle while they completed the work. Totally recommend.

While on a road trip in Southland my sister had battery issues with her Motorhome. I found this company online and phoned for service. They were able to look at the vehicle straight away fortunately. Nothing was a problem, the batteries were less than a year old in vehicle and the electrician went ahead and requested a credit from where l had purchased them, ordered replacements from Invercargill which arrived same day, installed and had me sorted within 24 hours.Awesome service.
