Lovely quiet place to stay, everything you need within walking distance. Clean tidy and have the things you forget to pack e.g hairdryer, razors etc. They are lovely welcoming and very helpful here. Definitely recommend it's worth the 20 minute drive into Hamilton for it!

Just bizarre.A friend and I booked for the weekend (Friday and Saturday). My friend who had the booking under his name, had his flight delayed and as a result was unable to check in by 6pm. I tried to check in for us, instead of allowing this they claimed there was no booking and then went on to cancel our entire booking.

Mixed experience. Room was fine, if rather sparse - TV small and bare minimum in way of tea/coffee (no caffeine free option) you don't expect too much from a motel so it wasn't too bad. The walls were very thin and there were louvers open over my room's door which let in noise and cold air, and no apparent way to close them.The low rating comes from my experience at check in. Office reception is advertised as 9am - 9pm, we arrived at 8.45pm and the office was locked, all lights off. Ringing the bell brought someone down after a few minutes of wondering if we'd have to sleep in the car.The quoted rate over the phone wasn't honoured and when we enquired about the increase in price she said oh

An average stay. Room was clean. Heat pump was comfy. Was however promised over the phone I could plug in to charge an EV, but not honoured without an explanation. Travelling for overnight business, so losing 40 mins to charge elsewhere was a big deal.

Some rooms renovated, others to follow I'm told. Good cheap option. Lovely hosts!2 years later.... Not happy we couldn't book a room during Koroneihana because we live too close in Auckland! Should be first in, first served.

We've just spent a week at the motel and highly recommend to all. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the proprietors were lovely and very welcoming. Thankyou very much, Katrina and Mark from Invercargill.

We stayed here over a long weekend and we were really impressed by the renovation they have done on the rooms. They were all clean and tidy with new paint and soft furnishings. The linen was great quality.The two sisters who are running the establishment are making a real difference to local community so I encourage you to support them.

My husband and I spent 2 nights there. It was comfortable, relaxing and peaceful many thanks to our host we would come back
