Friendly front desk staff. More like a motel (motel 6) than hotel. Room, bed & bath clean & well maintained. Breakfast was good & staff was friendly.Room rates are like any 4-5 star luxury hotel & very expensive but hotel is more like clean & well maintained motel.Building, hallways, surroundings, parking are old & dilapidated. Need to be updated.Access to hallways, doors and locks needs to be improved.Attached dining experience was fine & staff was friendly.

An amazing hotel in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Friendly staff, great rooms at a cracking price. Head downstairs for a steak for dinner, it is a terrific feed..! The bar is great too. Thanks for an amazing stay... :-)

A beautiful quaint hotel ideally suited for exploring Fox Glacier or just as a stopover. Fantastic friendly staff and a place highly recommended. We really enjoyed our stay and found the staff and food excellent.

Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier
The hotel is older. But the bathroom is clean, and the reception personnel were all helpful and courteous. The best part of this hotel is the AWESOME breakfast! Tasty and plentiful! Couple more perks are, grocery/convenient store and restaurants across the street, Heli-hike next door literally, long scenic street to run on, and glow worms 7-min walk from the hotel!

A lovely room and friendly staff. The heating in the room appeared to be on a timer and was turned off at night and then turned on again in the morning. We stayed in winter and we froze. Wouldn't stay again in winter at this hotel. Other than that a lovely room.
