I am extremely disappointed with this company and would give them a zero-star rating if I could.We purchased a dining table and coffee table, only to receive broken products. The coffee table's side was damaged and filled with white fillers, while a portion of the dining table had a mismatched color.We reached out to them for a replacement, and although their official technician confirmed the issues, we received a call stating that these were simply characteristics of the products, not problems.I am thoroughly dissatisfied with their response and do not recommend them, especially considering their high prices.

We have purchased a few times from the Mt Wellington store, the staffs were always very helpful! For our recent purchase from this store, Rae and the store manager put in their best effort to follow up and organize the armchair to be delivered to us before the scheduled delivery time ( in August). Rae is very friendly and always in a very professional manner!

Worst customer service I have ever encountered here in NZ. The management team don't seem to listen to simple instructions and refuse to provide any level of customer service. I ordered a 4 seater sofa from Nash in Mt Wellington as he advised it was immediately available for delivery. On the day of delivery the driver demanded I pay for the balance of the sofa upfront including delivery fee and then was advised that all 3 access doors were not feasible and we would need to remove structural beams of the carport for a 50% chance to get the couch in. They then took the sofa away back to the DC and I requested a full refund provided obstacles around delivery. I am now being told that my only option is to take store credit or forfeit the amount as I do not want to deal with Nick Scali again. No customer empathy or at least loyalty, in fact just the worst customer experience I ever had.

*I have talked to customer service like their reply states and I was refused a price match.We placed an order for a couch 4 days ago at the Mt Wellington store which we were told was going full priced the next day. Not only did we feel pressured by the sales rep to rush our sale, but we were lied to and the couch has been put on sale and discounted by $400. Reached out to customer support with no reply and done further research to find out that this seems to be quite on theme for Nick Scali. We are a young family and it’s our first couch so we feel pretty taken advantage of. The workers and customer support do not look after you at all.

This store is fabulous! I would describe the styling as Urban Chic. The range of leather couches is fabulous and they appear to have lots of styles and colours to choose from. All the furniture here looks modern and high quality. They also have a lovely range of wooden tables and coffee tables too.

Items on sale were very reasonably priced. Store had a good layout so you could walk up and down without missing a section. Wasn't too overwhelming. They have a long lead time, about 3 months on couches (which seems to be the norm). Staff were super helpful too.

We had the best experience at Nick Scali in Hastings. Scott was so good at sales I purchased immediately and would 100% buy from him again. I have been to multiple stores across NZ and feel that the other stores could learn a lot from Scott. An extremely knowledgeable salesperson!

We recently purchased 2 sofas from the Syliva park store that is yet to be delivered only to find out the price has dropped significantly. The expected delivery is Mid August 2023, when it was purchased 2 weeks ago. It is extremely disappointing prices are not matched/reduced when we have not received the product and there is such a time lag in receiving it. Consumer satisfaction or understanding is not a priority for the stores or franchise. There is no customer empathy nor any care for loyalty. All other large retailers such as harvey norman price match until delivery at least or be able to provide a refund. I also tried to ask for a refund as the living room we intended these sofas to be for has turned out smaller then what we imagined due to packing out the wall (we are in the middle of constructing) as it was only 2 weeks ago the order was made, and the store said i would lose 40% of the deposit which is terrible. I would not recommend purchasing from the stores as customer service is poor. I wish i had read the reviews prior to making a purchase as they all highlight poor customer experience!

Nick Scali staff and customer service do not provide service, and based on reviews, NS simply don't care.Robots answer the phone, and you are always put on hold.The website stated it was available for delivery in a week, $95 deliver and assembly fee, so I ordered an armchair. 2 week delivery advised.Two staff said I don't know what assembly was required, the third found out and phoned me back. Thank you to that person.As I work mornings, I phoned to ask for an afternoon delivery to be noted. 4 people all told me 'No mam I cannot guarantee that, ask when delivery contact you the night before, if not you will have to reschedule to the next week'. In sheer frustration I had to demand that a note be put on my delivery asking 'please deliver in the afternoon'.Customer service centres are offshore - Australia and Indonesia? and had no idea I was calling from NZ.On delivery the armchair was cartwheled in, I was asked to pay $95 cash as the eftpos was not working, and if I would screw the base on myself as they did not have a drill? That is what I paid the $95 for! Happily they found a drill.The one good thing about my experience was the delivery tracking, and txt when 45 mins away. Superb.I love my armchair, BUT, NS you have a lot to improve on, especially on what they CAN do for customers before the need to complain.

Great visit to Nick Scali. Had very helpful sales people and was in and out having chosen and bought a sofa within the hour. Loved the NZ imagery dotted about the store and the staging ans showcaseof different fabric types and colours.
