I would just like to share the fantastic experience I have had with the pre op, surgery and post op appointments I have had with Adam. He was very professional from the outset and i would not hesitate to recommend him and his team to anyone that requires rotator cuff surgery. It's been six months since my surgery and my arm has healed just as i was told by Adam.Hillary was always kind and helpful which goes a long way in making a person feel comfortable. After suffering a lot of shoulder pain, enduring many fruitless physio sessions. and multiple cortisone injections I was beginning to think shoulder pain was going to be with me for the rest of my life. But then I met Adam Durrant. Surgical intervention identified a torn cartilage and he set about repairing it. Thanks to Adam and his team I am now enjoying a pain free shoulder and enjoying a relatively healthy level of weight training.

He is great to communicate with and works hard to achieve the best possible outcomes for his patients. The entire process from first being referred to Adam through to surgery & the post op care and follow up has been nothing but outstanding. Adam spent the time to ensure I fully understood what was to happen at each part of the process and my surgery & full recovery has been a great success. Its very sad that I have to place a poor review on this practice given that Adam Durrant himself seems to be an excellent surgeon, however his partner who is unfortunately the practice manager clearly lacks manners or any concept of patient care. Reading the reviews above it seems I am not the first person to experience this. I hope Mr Durrant can hire a professional assistant & let his partner do something else that doesn’t involve people contact.

Had the most awful experience with the receptionist at this practice. The waiting list is extremely long. I've been waiting for months with my appointment still a few months out. I have now found out that I won't be in the country at the time of my appointment and called to find out if I could reschedule by having someone that was further down the list swap with me. She very rudely told me she doesn't have the time" to be calling people and that she could only schedule me in 2 months after my initial appointment. Absolutely appalling customer service. I would prefer going to someone who actually cares about their patients."

Mr Durrant and his team are amazing. They handled everything from scans through to medical reports in my ACC dispute. I re injured my thumb a few weeks following surgery, rang Mr Durrants office and when I arrived at A&E a few minutes later my file had already been sent through by Amanda.What did stand out was Adams bedside manner during my surgery, something I have found older surgeons lack. He fully explained the procedure and what to expect in the days and weeks following surgery.I highly recommend Adam if you are having any hand or shoulder problems. By far the best specialist I have come across.
