Lumino Orthodontists Max + Beresford

Very costly for services and not recommending this branch. One time having dealth with them for many years as a customer they still took my dept to collection agency because I did not pay their hefty balance in a timely manner! only because I did not receive letters due to incorrect address u had? ridiculous each time I had to replace retina which was broken due to consuming numerous food over the years I got charged again and again to fix felt not really my fault or if clip came out should just replace it obviously

I have been a long-term customer with them since Jan 2017. A few days ago I just had braces removed eventually. After that, every friend said to me it's an amazing improvement for my teeth. During the 28 month treatment, they were very friendly and professional. I think they have done a great job. Now I do enjoy my smile with confidence. Thank you all! Of course I will wear the retainer carefully and correctly as required and come back for check as arranged.

I had treatment between July 2013 - July 2015, with my last check-up in 2017.Very rude receptionist at the time, as an adult with braces I was treated like a child.I still have glue on my teeth that was not removed properly, a dent in a tooth where they went too deep trying to get glue off and I have large gaps at the back of my mouth where they removed my teeth which I was told would close naturally. The gaps were still there in 2017 at my last check-up and remain.When my braces were removed there was a slight gap at the front of my smile which again I was told would close naturally, it was still there 2 years after my braces were taken off when they finally fixed it after at least three previous check-ups where I requested it to be fixed.My new dentist who is also a dental surgeon has advised in his professional opinion that I have incomplete orthodontic treatment as a result of being treated at Max & Beresford.After 2 years and at least $12,000 to have incomplete orthodontist treatment is unacceptable.My close friend also had the same experience and will not return for future treatment.Im not one to complain and this is my first ever online review.Note* I did not pay for the wire that was finally corrected however this was minimal and in no way compensation for incomplete dental work.I have lodged a formal complaint with Lumino.

It has been 6 years since I have gotten rid of my braces and these orthodontists have done a fantastic job in making my teeth straight and perfect. However, the glue sticking the wire to my teeth keeps falling off and each time, it costs to have it re-glued (even though they say the wire should be 'permanently on'). On top of this, the glue comes off even when I have no consumed any hard food!

Kind staff! Very quick appointments

The receptionist is extremely rude and made me feel very uncomfortable during an experience where she raised her voice in a very impolite way to convince me the next appointment date she selected was correct when I just wanted to double check with the dentist. I feel I was treated in a wrong way (I should have spoken up right there but didn't have experience to deal with this) and now whenever I think about this I still feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed even when it had happened months ago! Hopefully the owner will see this feedback from his patients and give the proper training to the receptionist on how to treat his patients in a polite way. I have made my decision to stop my son's treatment here.

I have been a long-standing customer of Max and Beresford. The staff are generally very friendly and my teeth have definitely improved. Unfortunately the glue for the wire is quite fragile, although that might be the nature of the product.

We had an overall good experience with my son's treatment and the results were fantastic given he had several dental problems to address. We were in good hands with an experienced orthodontist who knows exactly what he is doing. The staff led by Dr Max were generally accommodating and helpful, though some are friendlier than others.

Over the time our daughter had been under the professional care of Dr Max and his highly skilled team, myself and my wife have been greatly impressed with the marvelous results.I would highly recommend our friends to visit Dr Max for their orthodontic needs.
