Wanaka isite Visitor Information Centre
Brilliant service from Patricia and the other staff at the iSite. I was keen to take a skiing holiday with my teenage children but quite unsure how to navigate booking everything. Patricia found me great deals on ski hire, transport up the mountain, and accommodation. Definitely above and beyond expectations!

The ISite team were amazing- the Siberian heli hike and jet boat was fantastic and the Hawea bike ride was terrific! The team are so very helpful and clearly passionate about hooking up tourists on great (and suitable) adventures. They really listened to us and booked everything. Staff are wonderfully helpful, even after our trip was completed. I had trouble because we inadvertantly paid twice for some hotels, which was my due to my misunderstanding. iSite staff was very accomodating and we will contact them again for our next trip to New Zealand. We've been telling friends about our experience in the hopes that they will contact isite for trip planning, too!

Just like all other i-sites in New Zealand, the location is extremely easy to find, almost always in the first spot visiting down town. The staff are always friendly and helpful. In my opinion this is one of the biggest highlights that make New Zealand stand out in the tourist industry.

When I travel, I normally check out the tourist information centres as there is always something I may have missed.We were served by Leng/Lin (sorry if the name is incorrect). We wanted to do one walk and we didn't have time so she gave us another alternative, to walk Diamond Lake which we did and it was amazing. Super helpful and informative. Thanks for all the help you gave us!

Wanaka isite Visitor Information Centre
You'll find the Wanaka i-SITE in the small shopping centre area along Ardmore Street just in front of the lake. There is a handful of parking spots right in front of the i-Site and a larger carpark across the street along the lakefront. Opening hours are 9am to 5pm daily.This is a good place to stop by when you first arrive in town. They staff are friendly and can give you latest information regarding weather and local trail conditions and make suggestions for which you might want to try during your visit to Wanaka.They have area hiking maps and numerous tour brochures at the i-SITE and can book tours and activities for you as well.
