Hand and Hand - Childcare Centre

My two children have each attended Hand and Hand Hobsonville since they were a year old - sending them here has been one of the best parenting decisions we've made. It is amazing to see how much they have thrived in Hand and Hand's supportive and caring environment.The teachers are amazing with their communication, keeping us updated on how the kids are doing day-to-day. Milestones are celebrated by all and any issues are addressed in a collaborative manner. It is so comforting as a parent to see the trusting and respectful relationships the children have built with their teachers.We love the diversity represented by Hand and Hand's staff and client base. The centre makes a conscious effort to teach kids about the wide range of cultures present in NZ, encouraging acceptance and inclusion for all.

I'm so glad I found Hand and Hand. After several terrible childcare experiences, I never thought I, nor my child, would ever find a centre we felt comfortable with. The teachers (Ruhi in particular, supported by the wonderful centre manager throughout) genuinely turned our world right-side up. The communication is amazing, and having daily photo updates is such a fantastic part to see what our little ones have been up to every single day. My child has developed friendships, social skills, and come on leaps and bounds. Everything about Hand and Hand far exceeded our already sky-high expectations and cannot recommend this centre highly enough.

The staff are warm, friendly and engaging with the kids, and family focused with the parents. In particular during the lockdowns, Gunjan as a centre manager was a standout. Communication was great and she went out of her way to look after health and well-being of the kids and parents.Joining Hand and Hand was the best decision we made and even 3 years later our daughter skips in happily each morning. My daughter has been attending Hand and Hand for just over 2 years. Her learning journey has consisted of caring relationships and encouragement of her confidence through the baby room, toddlers room and now currently the preschool room. As a parent, I am relieved to have found a centre that has played a consistent role in her development. I have found that through out the time, I was always kept in the loop and able to positively work with the teachers upon her achieving different development milestones.

Both my children attend Hand and Hand Hobsonville, and I totally recommend to anyone who’s looking for childcare in west Auckland.The baby room teachers are amazing at what they do. They are very welcoming and treated my baby with lots of love and care. Their communication has been excellent in pick up times and I was well informed of what my baby had been up to during the day, what and how much he ate and nappies and sleep. My daughter loves going to preschool room and she has lots to tell me when she gets back home. I love how the preschool teachers focus on getting kids ready for school. My daughter loves learning about phonics, letters and numbers with teachers, and I can tell that Hand and Hand is definitely her happy place.

My son has been attending hand and hand for more than a year now. He always comes home happy and talks about the fun things he has done for the day. The teachers are all lovely and I can see that they have a very strong team, looking after my little one.

My son attended Hand and Hand Hobsonville since he 17mths old - sending him there was the best decision. The enviroment at Hand and Hand is supportive and caring for not just the child but also the families.The teachers are amazing, we received regular updates on how he was doing on a day-to-day basis. My son has only just started school and the feedback from his teacher has highlighted how Hand and Hand preschool preparation has made his school tranistion exceptional.I can highly recommend Hand and Hand Hobsonville, thanks again for everything!

My daughter started at Hand and Hand in March 2022 after couple of bad experiences at the previous daycare.Now i am so happy about the decision i made to enrol my daughter at Hand and Hand. My daughter loved this daycare.Teachers are so kind and they truly give their best service as early childhood teachers.All the kids are enjoying their time at the day care.I highly recommend this daycare.Wish you all the very best Hand &Hand.

I love Hand and Hand Hobsonville so much and I will recommend this centre for for good care. My daughter was going to the pre school room of this centre about one year ago.She loved to go there everyday and she was always asking me on the weekend why can’t she go there . I loved the teachers of preschool room how they welcomed in the morning ad provided me all the information about my daughter’s activities, her food. I loved how the teachers focused on school ready programs and prepared her for the school I can tell that Hand and hand was the right and happy place for her. She loved literacy and numeracy work they were doing with the children. Everyday she was excited to tell me about her new skills she was learning with her teachers. Now she is going to primary school and she is really doing well in her class.I will highly recommend this place ….
