2nd time we enjoyed fish & chips, and chicken tenders. Best fried food we had in all NZ in 2022. Will come again

If you want good COOKED food DONT GO HERE....1st BAD REVIEW EVER GIVEN. Had to give 1 star but that is only for awesome location ... .Well what a let down... NEVER GOING BACK.. EVER!!!. Couldn't cook fish & chips to save them selves. Way over priced too. Half the chips were burnt the other half under cooked & soggy. Which I don't understand How?The gurnard fish was stuck to the wrapping, & batter soggy too. The hamburger was tasteless, with way too much sauce. We had already placed & paid for our order, when another man complained to him about his food. Owner completely ignored his complaints & argued nothing wrong with the food. Not even an apology, Suggested it was the customers fault for been too late, to pick up. Which he wasn't. Rude grumpy owner, felt like all he wanted was your money, he even stood there counting the till...BAD business management.. Please change your cooking oil regularly & deep fryer is at correct temperature. HAPPINESS AND GOOD MANNERS ARE FREE. Try some.

Amazing fish, crab sticks and spring rolls. The batter wasn't too thick on the fish which was great

Mussel burger was very meaty. Recommended.Burger was ok. Seafood and chips was a bit pricey for us. We are from Rotorua, we can get more for the same price.Has tables and benches outside. walking distance from the beach.Convenient

I ordered 1 fish, chips, and a battered sausage. The $5 portion of chips seemed about half the normal size, the $4.50 fish fillet" was actually a reconstituted FISH FINGER from a cardboard box

We ordered some Tarakihi fish and chips. The fish was very good, and the chips were quite generous portions, even if a bit too tasty to our taste.

Fish & Chips for dinner X2 were fresh and really yummy with light coating of batter. Best we have had in a long time!!Did find they had to much salt for our tastebuds.
