Lakehead Hut
Has been redone since i visited this hut. A 28 bunk hut that does tend to get busy and crowded. An easy walk in.

Stunning location and fairly nice hut, but doc please fix for and make ladders with one more plank we don't need to risk life and limb to get into bed

Good strong hut for campers. If you are doing the Lake Rotoiti Circut Track of going further, this but can be a good placw to rest. I have taken one point off because there weren't any toilet paper available. Otherwise all good.

This hut is about 10 mins walk from the lake, coldwater hut is lakeside. Good facilities though. Sandflys galore

Hut itself was okay. It was a $15 serviced hut without firewood. Would have been satisfied if it had been a $5 hut.

This is a wonderful spot at the Head of the lake. 3 hours from St Arnaud, or 4 if you like to stop often and expose yourself to sandflies!Good fire, plenty of bench space, also plenty of room when shared correctly. Great views in this National Park.

Great location to stay! But will need to find yourself firewood in the Winter as there wasn't much here when we arrived.

Excellent hut, plenty of room, great location. Clean and tidy. Easter Bunny was about, we found eggs!
