We used Orkney to build our new home in 2018. they were always upfront and honest with everything they did, and the team were skilled and took a real pride in their work.Our build was a difficult one, but they were up for the challenge and prepared to learn new techniques as the job required.When the inevitable small mistakes happened, they took full responsibility and just fixed them. All builds are stressful, but Kevin went out of his way to keep that stress to a minimum.We are enjoying living in our warm, dry and modern home, and we still keep in touch with the new friends we made at Orkney.

We had Craig from Orkney work on adding blocking under our house and lay ground moisture barrier. The work was completed efficiently and to an excellent standard. Craig’s communication was friendly, professional and he was great to deal with. He took photos of his work and showed us to make sure we were happy with the completed work. Orkney Group undertook extensive interior and exterior work on our small inner-city Wellington house and section over 2019-2021. The project was complicated by the need for easements from neighbours, urgent repairs to a neighbour's house revealed by excavation for our path, and the onset of COVID-19. Despite this the work was completed on time to a very high standard, and has resulted in a warm and weather-proof home which has stood up very well to the extreme weather we have recently experienced.

From the work I had completed on my house which was in the $150,000 plus. These guys did a great job, I would recommend them to everyone. It was not just the work Orkney development did but the communications between them and us during the job. I would have no hesitation and getting more work done by them if required.

I have always done my own painting so it was with some reluctance that I had to accept a health condition meant that was no longer possible. The painting job I had was not very big though, just the fascia and soffits with a bit of touch up work elsewhere. So, I thought it would be difficult to find a painter willing to take it on. But Stephen from Orkney group happily came to check out the job. We liked him and his approach, so accepted his quote. His painters started on time and did an absolutely amazing job in the timeframe that had estimated! Their attention to detail was similar to my own and not what I thought would come from someone I had to pay. They even noticed something I had never noticed and painted that. The house looks really sharp again I think even better than the day we moved in. The two painters who worked on our house were lovely, polite and thoughtful and they left the place spotless.
