Went through Builderscrack Website to engage these guys. Quoted us for 2 days work, completed it in 1 then wouldn't provide us with a breakdown of costs when requested or negotiate at all on the originally quoted price despite their reduced labour costs. We paid the bulk of the invoice and explained why we weren't paying it in full, we have been now threatened with debt collectors twice for the remainder. ($1,000 of a $7,100 original quote).We have reluctantly paid the remainder today as we have no time for this but encourage people to get a full detailed breakdown of costs before you engage them as we feel this would have prevented the immense frustration that we have had in our dealings with the owner.
