Vinny inherited our major lift replacement project amidst an ablsolute unmitigated disaster from our supplier. From day one, he worked day and night ot get our project back on track. Vinny at Canterbury Elevators Ltd helped us out on earthquake repairs and reinstatement works at the eight storey former IRD Building in Christchurch.This involved a complex structural repair programme with multiple contractors requiring access to the lift shaft to complete repair works, whilst maintaining uninterrupted access to at least one operating service lift throughout.Vinny assisted through planning, detailed programming and engagement in risk assessment and safety processes to ensure we were able to complete the work without incident. Canterbury Elevators has successfully completed the installation of 3 new lifts in our 5* Hotel St Moritz, in Queenstown. Vinny is a great communicator, with excellent time management skills and always understanding our needs. He is the person you need and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
