I highly recommend South Taranaki Funeral Services, they are the best funeral home in Taranaki. Glenn went above and beyond what is normally expected of a funeral director, making the entire process so much easier on a grieving family. Glenn provided a safe place for us to voice our worries, and even provided a shoulder when needed. Glenn was extremely compassionate and empathetic towards our situation, and we feel we have gained a life-long friend in him.

I greatly appreciated my friendly and personable service from Glenn and Ruth. Glenn handled my late Mother-in-Law's passing with sensitivity and dignity, managing requests with alacrity to accommodate both sides of the family. His touch of humor added some light relief to such a sad time of loss. The recommendation for a Celebrant was also appreciated and she was sensitive and thoughtful in celebrating Janet's life. I would highly recommend South Taranaki Funeral Services.

Would not recommend this funeral home. Found the funeral director Glenn very aggressive, condescending and patronising on a day where compassion and empathy should be given. He caused unnecessary stress and upset right before the funeral commenced. Bewildered by the treatment I received.

I cannot rate Glen & his team highly enough. Their professionalism, compassion and respectfulness at such a difficult time helped me through the past 6 years with the loss of my father, husband and then mother.I then had the privilege to work behind the scenes & experience the actual planning, care & thought that went into each individual family and their wishes, needs, and requirements for their loved one. Glen and his team are very dedicated.

Glenn is a very reliant and patient person who I think is a best fit for the job .I believe that we've established the connection at the time he allowed us to visit and stay with mum for a couple of hours even it is public holiday. This is at the stage when we haven't engaged his services to handle my mum's funeral.He is very flexible and understanding to adopt to our religious customs and practices considering that we came from different nationality.He took time to listen and understand on what we want and need.This is one of our family's major trauma and Glenn gone extra mile by showing his utmost caring attitude to us- by spending some time talking to us /checking on how are we feeling etc. Although, this event is quite distressful to our family,it is important to make this event memorable as well.he've reminded us that this is a celebration of life and come up with suggestions on how we can memorialized our dear mum in the most appropriate way.We are happy and grateful to Glenn and Ruth for helping us to have a very memorable farewell for our dear mum.
