RAMSAR site - wetland of international importance.This is Godwit territory but don’t forget the Royal Spoonbills, Herons and many more species of estuary/wetland birds.Easily accessible with excellent vantage points.Foxton Beach is not busy much of the year so perfect for quiet, relaxed bird watching.
