Gilmer Apartment Hotel Wellington

Location was perfect with easy access to the motorway. everything else was great other than maybe more supplies given ie, 3 towels for 3 people instead of 2.

Excellent well priced room in central Wellington and it's very quiet being back off behind Lambton Quay, however it is also quick access to the CBD. Very clean room, comfortable bed and welcoming reception. Excellent value for money and close to all activities, shops and eateries.

Great location. Perfect for the four of us in two bedroom apartment. Quiet rooms. Room had everything we needed.

Stayed there a couple of nights while visiting wellington with family. Located in a quiet street in the heart of CBD and is a short walk away for all places of interest (cable car, te papa, cuba street). Overall a good experience.

You guys have the most friendly staff ever. They were awesome. I do not know Wellington at all, they were super helpful in talking me through getting to Countdown for supplies.The night itself being Friday was filled with interesting outside noises... like the jungle, but human! The room itself was awesome. Clean, warm, comfortable and easy.Thanks very much. I will come again simply because of how friendly the staff are.

Location has pros and consHilly area - and will be a bit of a hike to get to cuba street where the action is.Food options aren’t that great nearby of an evening but it’s just a few minutes to hit lambton quay via a shortcut nearby and there’s a countdown if you need to pick up some groceries.If you plan on hitting the cable car, the station is very closeby also.The first night was a bit jarring with outside noise - note that the hotel is near a couple parking garages and an office building. The first night I needed earplugs however it was fine for the rest of my 5 night stay.In room washer/dryer was much appreciated.Bed is a bit firm, so I asked for a mattress topper. The mattress itself was a little weird: the centre of gravity meant it felt like my head was lower than my feet which I adjusted to over the next couple of night.All of my interactions with staff was pleasant and after hours check in was a breeze.

Clean but compact room we decent facilities. Noisy at night from other occupants though 2 nights in a row.

Clean and comfortable room, self contained and in a very handy location. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Will stay again next time and highly recommend to others.

We have stayed at Gilmer Apartment Hotel on several occasions and we are always happy to come back here. The location is great and it is very easy to get to the central city from there to see the sights. It is useful that the hotel also offers the option of parking. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and the staff are very helpful. A bonus is the possibility to use the facilities at a local gym which rounds off a great stay. Thank you!

The hotel rooms were clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable ,not hard at all. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
