After a poor experience some time ago we decided to give this restaurant another go. I ordered the lamb salad, which was on the specials board and was $25. The lamb was tough and gristley. The 'salad' was essentially a bag of mixed greens and contained a large yellow, decaying leaf so had clearly not been sorted through, just dumped straight in the bowl. There was no carbohydrate component in the salad so it was very unsatisfying. One person of the 4 of us was happy with the food, the rest of us were unimpressed. The cheesecake dessert was awful - gluey, stale and tasteless. The service was extremely slow - we waited almost an hour for our food. And it wasn't cheap. I won't be returning.

Absolutely atrocious service and food. They don’t even deserve 1 star! Fancy being asked by the manager how our meals are and letting him know politely how disappointed we are with them… only to be told “sorry I can’t do anything about that” and walked away from us…. Like what an absolute joke! Ridiculously overpriced for how small and disgusting the food was. You couldn’t pay us to return back here.

I ordered a large pizza for $33 for a nice evening treat it was small. Sadly, it was the worst pizza I have ever tried in my life. I am very angry and sad. It is obvious that it was not made by Italians that is for sure. This was my worst food experience I have ever had in my existence. This place needs to be shutdown as a show of respect to Italy.

Too small plate of risotto mushroom and not properly cooked... we bought a steak sandwich to ans the meet was over cook and just a really tiny porcion of meet and fries

We came here today for the 1st time. The sun was actually shining for once so we sat outside and i said “we could actually be on holiday right now” the setting was so cute in amongst other cafes. The service was amazing from the moment we arrived and the food was great. Inside looked very nice and cozy with a fireplace on. Will 100% stop in next time we pass through Whangarei.

Foods way overpriced and the pizza and beef taste like rubbish. Smallest portions I’ve ever seen for such high prices. Such a waste. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend. If I could give no start I would! Horrible food. I don’t know why this place is still running. Should have read the reviews first as mostly all of them had the same opinion as me.

We came here for mother's Day and we were sitted quickly. Our little four-year-old knocked his orange juice out bad we were given another glass for free. One of the ladies looking after us help us with no fuss. The pasta marinara was very nice and the pizza was amazing the kids enjoy they're macaroni and cheese. They were very friendly they asked us if everything was ok at least twice they have toys and books for the kids to enjoy. We didn't feel very stressed eating out with the kids here. Top-notch customer service thank you.

Nice atmosphere. It's also my first time to see a pizza can be cooked in a pocket, just like a pita.What's more, the squid in the Lemon Pepper Squid dish was exceptional juicy.Food there was a bit expensive, otherwise, everything was good.
