Earth Village

I recommend this retreat place.. Earth Village. I spent a magical weekend there connecting with nature, body and soul. Very nourishing in so many ways. The people, the food, the land and the body movement. Do it for your spirit and body and your friends and family will benefit to.

I attended a weekend retreat in September and it was truly a life changing experience ( I know that is a cliche! ) I have attended retreats all over the world and this has to be right up there for its 'message', the beautiful natural bush and surroundings, the content of what was shown to us , the simple but perfectly adequate accomodation, amazing gourmet food and beautiful people who facilitated the weekend. A BIG Thank you to everyone who helped create the perfect space. I have been telling all my friends and hope many others will take my advice to go to the retreat and become Earth Citizens. The founder, Ilchi Lee certainly has an amazing philosophy and is such an inspiration to those who reside at the Earth Village thereby passing on all the good vibes to the retreat attendees.Highly highly recommended. Earth Village is a place to let go of worries & stresses, and the cares of the world. Nature is a powerful healer and Earth Village is designed as for retreats. With stands of native bush, pine forest, streams and waterfalls, rocks and caverns, cabins for accommodation, platforms for meditation plus120 steps, a Scandinavian style sauna and plunge pool fed from a bubbling freshwater spring, it is the idea place to get away from it all and do a retreat.

I went on a retreat at Earth Village at the start of 2023. My wife pointed it out to me and to be honest, it was with some trepidation that in the end I decided I would give it a go! I was so glad I did, and I had such a wonderful time. The accommodation although just a basic cabin was very nice and comfortable, and the meals were astounding. I must say that while not being a vegan I had low expectations around the food but boy was I blown away by the variety and freshness of the food! On top of that the team of Yewon, Koro and David made staying at Earth Village even better, these 3 people where amazing and so kind and generous with their time and knowledge. I enjoyed the learnings that they shared and the laughs and caring they offered. Who would think that Vegan food mixed with Yoga, a forest and waterfalls could be so wonderful? I didn’t but I do now. And one last note from me is that it isn’t just the retreat either, the people I met while on the retreat added to the experience and helped supply some great laughs and discussions over the days and saw me make, I hope some lasting friendships. Recently a group of 11 people from our group in Hokianga had a 3-day experience with Earth Village Retreat. The experience was tailored especially for our group needs. We all felt the genuine care and aroha from the organizers and facilitators of this experience. I was able to open up to a new sense of self love and worth and a renewed sense of responsibility to stay connected to others and our natural world., by taking care of my whole life not just parts of it. The cabins are lovely, comfy beds, absolutely delicious highly nutritious meals and beautiful peaceful environment. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who is looking for a place to learn the tools of restoring inner peace and enhancing your overall health. The price is well worth it considering what is included, and the sauna and cold plunge pool is absolutely amazing. The overall group experience was rated very highly, and everyone took home something to continue on with and share with others. Our time was jam packed with activities and learnings that were both unexpected and embraced by women and men alike. I will be bringing more groups to share in this experience in the future, everyone deserves this experience!

The nature of Earth Village was so beautiful, and it was a great place to rest and recharge. All the staff were friendly and always had a bright smile. Through the retreat program, I became more connected with myself, and it was a time to purify and heal my emotions. thank you.

It’s was definitely a time in my life that something like the EV experience was needed and how blessed was I to have three opportunities to experience the EV no experience similar to the other.Yewon & Koro, Del & I consider them family and I will be eternally grateful to Yewon for changing my life and the view I have, and the way I approach everything in the world…Grateful to Master Ilchi Lee for creating this place and all the Masters for the amazing work they have done and continue to do.I LOVE MY LIFEI LOVE MYSELFand now I’m constantly striving to make a better today than yesterday, a better tomorrow than today.I LOVE YOU GUYS - THANK YOU SO MUCH

I had three the most amazing days in the Earth Village retreat. It is an absolute treasure - magical nature which beauty is preserved and enhanced with such a love and care. I see it in my dreams now and want to come back many many times. Endlessly grateful for every minute of my time there!

I had such a wonderful time at the Earth Retreat. It was truly a wonderful experience of healing and learning some new tools. The place was mind blowing and what they have created is amazing. I felt like I had had a week away when it was only a weekend. The facilities are perfect and the food was made with so much love and care. It was outstanding. Felt so relaxed after and ready for the world. Thank you to the lovely facilitators who made such a wonderful impact on us all. I’ll be back for sure Amy xxx
