Set up fee and refund processing fee. PayWave exists, 1 day gigs really need to stop letting these band top up companies rip of their attendees.

Absolute scam of a company. The whole premise of this tech is that it ‘saves you time’ at events, when in reality you have to queue double the amount of times - first to top up (separate queue as in the photo), and then again in the actual bar queue. You pay a ridiculous fee to activate the wristband, a processing fee each time you top up (if using credit or paywave) and then another fee to withdraw your own money if you have an unused balance. You get less than 30 days to request a refund of your unused balance and it can take a week to process.I just cannot fathom why events use this service. Everyone has paywave so this method of payment is nothing other than an extra way to squeeze more money out of event goers. Hard to believe it’s legal.Everyone you speak to at events complains about it and the people working at the wayver desks also admit it’s an absolute joke.Event organisers: Please stop using wayver!

Fees for activation, a fee to top up and a fee to get a refund. What a joke. Still big queues, to top up the card and get any drinks etc., (check if the vendor will accept cash, we found most did as they didn't like Wayver either. :)

Not a good service for festivals, you loose money. You have to spend $5 to activate you band and then every time you top up more money throughout the day you get charged a fee for using payWave or credit card. If you do the topping up online before the festival you have to pay an extra processing fee as well as the activation fee for the band when you get there. Then when you go to get a refund with YOUR left over money you have to pay a processing fee. It’s a scam, especially when we have pay wave which is quick and easy.

Dodgy. Made a slight error and now unable to get my refund. These guys definitely took shine off what should have been a great event. Unfortunately, you don't know at the time of buying tickets that these guys are involved. Avoid at all cost.

This all seems like a way to cash grab from event goers. There is a fee to pay by credit card, a fee for processing the credit card and this is before you get to the event. When you're at the event, another activation fee" is taken off the money you've loaded. If you spend more than you anticipate

Was in contact regarding my refund with head office who originally were extremely unprofessional and rude. They investigated and told me I was 1/2 who didn’t get my refund and it was the banks fault. Was told I’d get my $5 activation fee back along with my refund fee and I’d get my money ASAP. It has been a week since they said that. It has overall been 3 weeks since I requested my refund from Bay Dreams. Emailed yesterday and today for further information regarding where my money is and have had no response.

SCAMING PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY! Try and get ya balance back, I couldn't. NO CHOICE at the venue. UB40 was excellent but now I feel ripped off! Poor choice to use these con artists!

Company is nothing more than a scam. Charging customers a fee to have the privilege of being able to spend their own money when inside an event. Claims it saves time queuing for drinks, food etc. yet the reality is you spend longer queueing to top up than you would anything else. Absurd. I cannot believe this is legal.
