Waitemata Cardiology

My mum was transferred from Waitakere Hospital to this ward Lakeview cardiology ward. She was literally treated like she was the only patient in the ward. Do not be mistaken by my words as Lake view was full. The nurses and Doctors were in a league of their own. Superb and extraordinary, polite and sensitive and met all her needs. She had her PACEMAKER surgery and the cardiologist spoke to us as human beings and made jokes and made my scared mum comfortable. Post Op care was amazing covered by one of the best nurses i have ever met Kirsty and a AUT nursing student Natalie who was so kind and polite. If you are lucky to get to this ward i swear you are blessed. We had horrible 9 days at Waitakere hospital but we forgot them after being at Lakeview. Once again thank you so much from the bittom of my heart. Aroha nui❤️
