Te Mata Kindergarten

We have been to a few childcare centres around the country and this kindergarten is outstanding. The teachers all bring positive attributes to the centre and are wonderful with the children. The set up, commitment to learning and development plus providing a calm and kind environment are only some of the things that make this place a special place. I can’t speak highly enough of this place and being a part of the Te Mata kindy experience.

Highly recommend Te Mata Kindergarten. Beautiful area, equipment and resources, all in top condition and maintained perfectly. The teachers are incredible, they go above and beyond, clearly work so hard and put in so much effort and they genuinely care. They are all friendly and welcoming and truly lovely warm people. There is a lot of both learning and fun that happens here. I am constantly impressed by what this Kindergarten does each day - fabulous activities both indoors and outdoors, so much creativeness - always something new and interesting, neat games, stories, songs, and during our time a visit from a magician and a puppet show which the children loved. There is always something awesome going on. The children are all very smiley and happy here. So thrilled we were able to have our child attend Te Mata Kindergarten. He has built his confidence while here, absolutely adores all of the teachers, and has made lots of friends :)

We have sent both of our boys through Te Mata Kindergarten and both times we have had truly wonderful experiences. The kindy is so beautifully equiped and the staff are so dedicated. It made our transition to Te Mata School a breeze as the kindy has regular visits from the new entrance teacher as well as continuity of friendships with most kindy friends transitioning through also.

I always knew I wanted my child to attend a Kindergarten programme as I feel it really sets the stage for the rest of their education and we could not love Te Mata Kindergarten more! The teachers, the facilities and the community are all incredible.Te Mata Kindergarten provides my child with an opportunity to learn and practice the essential social, emotional and problem-solving skills that he will use throughout his schooling. The teachers are all amazing and really help my child feel good about who he is and confident in his ability to tackle new challenges. There is a great combination of teacher-initiated and child-initiated activities and my child just has so much fun learning through play - 100% recommend!
