If you like planes and I do!!! Then this is the place to get a drink before your flight and enjoy sitting almost in the cockpit of whatever plane happens to be at Gate 1. On this occasion it was a nearly brand new Air New Zealand Dreamliner so as i drooled over the plane I had to have a nice glass of Guinness to help keep the drool in check at 5am. I think I could seriously be mistaken for a Labrador with a bowl of water on this occasion. The pour was on par and the prices were expected, as for service I couldn't blame them it was 5am, who the hell wants to be at work at 5am.

Wow! The best burger I had in a very long time. Shared chicken burger and beef one.Both amazing,juicy and not dry at all. Not bad $29 for airport prices. Plenty of NZ beers as well and friendly staff. And the views!!! Wouldn't expect this high standard at the Airport

Ryan and Kata were amazing. Thank you Kata, for the generous pours and looking after my kids, filling my sons bottle with milk, and entertaining them with things to do like drawings. Thank you, made a long international flight with a big airport wait time very enjoyable..

Poor service I can understand a slowdown in service you know c19 and all but when customers are left waiting while one bar server was talking and the other stacking bottles is not good service. Burger 29$ ceasar salad 24$ 2 x 330ml drinks 12$ as I said above i understand a slower service due to c19 but this was simply poor service. In this market we need to e sure our service levels are of a high standard...... Not at Vantage Bar Auckland Airport. Let's hope the food lifts the place.OK just had lovely ceasar salad and colleague's burger was good so the chef saved the day. Still will walk by next time as there is no excuse for blatant bad service

It’s very very disappointed. They can’t make egg Benedict firm cooked.. it’s been 3 times I have to return the eggs. It’s simple way to cook eggs.. runny, medium and hard. The chef seems don’t understand. Try get better experienced chef. Westing my times waiting and I have to leave

Not very busy but it has been 30mins and we are still waiting for our hot drinks after reminding them twice we are still waiting.My scrambled eggs with gluten free bread came with FRUIT LOAF GF. They sent my husbands out on gluten even after asking for GF.Don't waste your time or money

They do magic tricksI ordered the granola with maple syrup and fresh fruit.I received yogurt with 90% coconut, 10% soggy granola and a sprinkle of pomegranate.I've asked the waiter where the fresh fruit was. He said only sprinkle of pomegranate because of season.I have never heard pomegranate is in season in February.Anyway, I asked to give me only yogurt and pomegranate because the granola was not acceptable.Like a magic, they brought me pomegranate and kiwi fruit. Like a magic they suddenly had one more fruit available.At least they were kind enough to change my dish.However, the lady serving the coffe and taking my order did not even say hi or good morning, nor thanks or goodbye.I give two stars only because the kiwi fruit suddenly appeared.
