Staff here are knowlegable and super helpful. On one occassion staff showed much patience helping me rematch a whole cross stich kit to dmc threads as the kit was over 20 years old and used an unfamiliar brand of thread that i didnt want to risk using. I have dreams of attending their sewing classes but its still on my to do list for now

Fabulous store full with treasures for anyone interested in any kind of handcraft. The array of material for Patchwork and Quilting is among the best in NZ. Stitching projects and materials suitable for novices to the most experienced. Beautiful knitting yarns and patterns for all members of a family and so much more. And they run classes.. I highly recommend. I've travelled from Auckland to go to this destination specialty shop.

So glad Te Awamutu have a bernina shop. I brought a sewing machine for my teenage daughter and went here to get some pieces for her to learn how to sew. In march I believe they will teach sewing classes. Looking forward to learning. Good to keep her busy, eyes off the computer.

One of my favourite local, Waikato fabric shops.There's a lovely selection of good quality dress fabrics as well as quilting fabrics.Also available are wool, habby and notions.A Bernina stockist with a good easy-to-see range of different machines.Staff are helpful and experienced.I love visiting this store whenever I'm in Te Awamutu.Parking can be hard to come by immediately outside but there's usually of free parking nearby if you don't mind walking 100m +/-.

Well, not open to 5 pm... A pity, ran out of paper squares, and at 5 mins to 5 you were closed. So no stitching for me tonight. I'll get my squares tomorrow at spotlight.
