A useful pit stop at Pine Hill, a little tired looking and the usual baked goods with no stand out items. Coffee is surprisingly good and modest seating available out front to kick back and watch the world go by on east coast road.

Very clean, awesome they're open so early and everything looks great.Pastry on the pie I got was great, not too thick, and soft.That said, prices are pretty high, which I don't mind paying if things are top notch. Mince and cheese pie had an overwhelming taste of cumin/curry (not to my taste). Bacon and egg quiche is a fail. No bacon actually in the egg, just a couple of bits on top. And when I say egg, I mean onion with a little bit of egg. This was clearly to pad the volume out, not something I expect in a $7.50 quiche.

This place used to be good but they are now plain cheating with sandwich fillings, eg ham and egg which has one measly strip of ham and egg that barely covers a quarter of the bread. See photo.

Best pies in Auckland. Whenever I am in this part of town I always come by for their juicy & chunky (yet cheap) pie. They aren't fancy, just do the basics right :). Their other products are quite good value too. The premises is a no frills bakery.

Not a great experience sadly potato top pie had a strange taste also had a sausage roll that tasted awful my caramel slice and chocolate fudge slice were both rock hard either change of owners or orginal been slacking

Came in last weekend for a pie, used to come up here all the time growing up, and I think the place has gotten nicer! I like the new selection of treats and pies. Got a steak, jalapeno and cheese pie and it has to be my new favourite pie out there! Caramel filled doughnut was delicious and had heaps of the caramel filling. I went around 12pm and everything was fresh and delicious. Shame I don't live near there anymore!

This business does NOT deserve one single star, but I cannot post this information without picking at least a star" of disgust. I got 1 kg of white bread dough from them today and they charged me DOUBLE what the bakery down the road charge. If you want to be gladly ripped off
