Great food and nice staff. I went twice in one week. Both of my meals were incredible and really tasty. The prices are reasonable, especially being in the middle of Queenstown. I would recommend anyone going to Queenstown and needing a nice meal

Unfortunately we were very disappointed tonight with our meal and service. The staff seemed nice but didn't really have a clue. (Our server had only been in the country two weeks). We got the wrong drinks several times, the food left a lot to be desired (cold and tastless and a greatly reduced menu from previous visits). For the price we certainly expected more. It isn't anything like it used to be. We won't be rushing back. Eleven disappointed diners. ☹️

The food was great! Had a roast after a long day of skiing and it was perfect! We went with a big group of people and we’re a bit squashed but it’s alright. The staff were friendly on the most people other than one rude waiter that kept rolling her eyes at us. Would still go back though!

Still a good place for a few cold ones but I've been coming here for many years dating back to when it first opened in the old phone exchange. Sorry but the food is below average or my burger was anyway and the chips were dry and tasteless. Also the menu is tiny choice of 4 mainsI'll still call in for a cold one but the food has to improve to what it used to be

Excellent English inspired pub and eatery with a great and friendly crew, another go to" place for a great feed. Although well over the 20's mark I happened to arrive on the quiz night and had an enjoyable evening.Thank you to the staff and also the friendly patrons from the UK and Ireland."

Nice place for a family meal. The young one enjoyed his mini cheese burger. The roast beef meal was very tasty. Others had the pie, steak and chicken meals and also enjoyed them. Was a bit noisy to begin with as a crowd in to watch some sport on TV but quietened down eventually.

I wish I didn’t have to relay our experience as we genuinely loved it here and have returned many times. We ordered 2 adult beef Sunday roasts, 2 kids and a parmy. The parmy was good, no complaints for my teenage son. The roasts were a different story, portion sizes were disgusting for $25 for adults and half that for kids. The kids had 1 roast potato, adults had 1.5 little potatoes, both adults would have equated to 1 whole potato. Yorkshire pudding was rock hard and the roast beef was seriously over cooked and chewy. The portion size was so small I thought I had the kids, so when they arrived I could not believe it could be any smaller. The 3 staff stood talking in a group behind the bar, they didn’t once check in to see how everything was, if they had I would have fed this back then. You cannot be serious when serving those portions.. I wish I had taken a picture just to show how mean they were. Super disappointed and gutted given it was Mothers Day and I was really looking forward to a family day out with a Sunday roast.
