Helpful staff. Offered to pick up quad so thought fantastic but was charged $86 for this when only 5 mins away from their workshop.Wasn’t excepting it for free but justifying charging that much for locals is alittle steep. Think they should mention the huge cost of collecting and dropping off before booking it in.

I recently traded my bike at Maidstone Yamaha.The whole experience was made incredibly easy by Mac.First,we agreed the deal on the phone.I gave Mac the details of my bike.He didn't want photos,my description was enough.I had to trailer my bike down to Upper Hutt,because of the amount of extras that went with it.We got it off the trailer,Mac started it,that was the extent of his evaluation of my bike.When you've been in the game as long as Mac has,I imagine you just know whether a bike and its owner are genuine or not.Unlike other shops I have traded/purchased bikes from,the entire process took about 30 minutes,including the trailering of the new bike for the journey home(and that took about 20 minutes in itself).More often than not,it takes about 90 minutes for a shop to get the process sorted.Mac gave me a brand new rear tyre as the existing one was close to done,only just getting a WOF.In conversation,we have a great friend in common,and I found out my brother had bought a GSX1400 from Mac some 12 months earlier.His experience was the same as mine,fast,friendly, and a damn good deal.I can't express enough,how easy and enjoyable an experience it was to have dealt with Mac , and , Maidstone Yamaha in Upper Hutt.Thanks Mac.

Bought a used bike from these guys and Mac went out of his way to make sure I was happy and get it to me safely, working around storm disruptions. Good comms and service, thanks again

First time getting my CBR650R serviced with new tyres and sprocket and chain replacement these guys are top A class very friendly top servicemen work, I'm very happy with what that did and the price was right as well! if you haven't checked these guys out or looking for a new bike come to Maidstone Yamaha!

Mac was awesome ... I traded my bike for a new one from them. He gave me a good price on my old bike. The new bike price was also good.He was able to get me some good finance rate and good insurance.Would come back in a year or two for bigger bikes when my riding gets better and better ;)

Got a Akro exhaust for my near new MT09SP here. Reasonable price +- $2K and had it fitted in store. Realised after a few days a vital nut that holds the swing arm was missing. Looked at photos just before pipe went on and it was on. Shop was not very apologetic. I spent a half morning trying to find a replacement in a hurry to no avail. I would have expected a bottle of single malt whiskey to say sorry or at least a six pack of nice beer. Barely an apology though. Cost me a lot of time and hassle and was dangerous as Fook riding it how I did without nut. Owner did offer to courier me a new nut.

First rate. Helpful and competent service. I wouldnt go anywhere else. Lucky to have them in our area.
