Old school kiwi campground situated on hill overlooking Riverton. Really nice powered sites, awesome games room with table tennis, games, kids toys. Would just be nice to have slightly more modern shower facilities.

Despite being frantically busy they were very accomodating. Best campground shower I’ve ever had! Worth it for TA hikers off Oreti beach that’s for sure

Lovely camp we stayed in onsite big caravan, they have a big room with tv, games. The showers are great pressure so good. Place lovely clean and tidy hosts friendly too

Such a cool spot. The lounge and kitchen are the old community hall with lots of space and well set up with pots, pans, cutlery, crockery (so don't need your own), as well as big fireplace, sofas, table tennis and rough pool table (maybe bring your own tabletennis balls). Will try hiring a caravan next time, they looked good.

Cool Kiwi style campground elevated above the town of Riverton. Some powered sites had views to the south of the sea. Hot free powerful showers which were fabulous on a 4 degree morning. Friendly owner who welcomed us. Old style kitchen but it was spotlessly clean and a big community room. Highly recommended.
