Davies Firewood (T/A Davies Tree Service)

We had fantastic service from Davies Firewood. We were those painful clients, originally placing an order then changing our mind about the delivery date pushing it out at least a month then ringing further down the track to ask that it be delivered 2 weeks earlier than the pushed out date.I imagine this could have been frustrating, but Ruth was fantastic and really helped to accommodate our requests well at the same time providing good advice on the type of wood we should get due to our changing delivery dates.Have used Davies Firewood at least 3 times now and have always been happy with the service and the product. Nice clean wood, no rubbish, prompt service.Very happy customers.

The dry wood we ordered had a fair few pieces that were wet (over half were about 30% moisture content according to our moisture meter), one was soaking and covered in white mold. Someone came over to check it out and basically said sorry but can you just deal with it. He was nice and all but didn't seem to have enough pride in delivering a quality service to replace the wet wood like I think some other places would have.

Great company to deal with. We have used them for many years and they always deliver good dry firewood.

I’ve bought my firewood from Davies for the last 5 years and can’t recommend them enough. The wood is dry and burns well, and their mix options are helpful to get a fire going easy while lasting long. Best of all the staff are very friendly - who would’ve thought buying firewood could be such a pleasure.
