Lovely little spot to park up for the night . Max stay , 2 nights per month . Dogs are allowed off the leash but must be under control at all times . Doggy poo bags available plus rubbish bins

Listed as an official Freedom Camping spot on the NZMCA app.If water views are a must for you in your self contained motorhome, then head here.It’s only 5 min north of Thames, and has got water by the mouthful.Like most places Coromandel, it’s tidal, there’s rocks and sand and a bit of mud flats when the tides out. Can get a wind straight in your face too. And you’re only a couple hundred metres from a state highway- but I’ll say this: we’ll be back. This is our new “go to” spot!
