So good! And good value, my new favorite fish and chip shop. Get some cash for it but absolutely worth it!Just had the best cheese burger and fish burger, heaps of sause and cheese, just so yum!

I haven't brought fish and chips for 40yrs but decided to try Thames takeaways after their advertisement and it was absolutely beautiful so got another lot this week, was just as good.

It's not the same. The photo shows what $5 worth of chips looks like. That's barely 1 scoop. It's really bad quality now.The yummy sauce, beetroot has been left out of the burgers. The cheese is fake (processed slices) The old owners were onto it.And the menu additions of kebabs, pizzas and fiji food, really? There are other shops for those foods Stick to burgers and chips. :)

It used to be a great place for awsome burgers, but the new owners have let me down. Lots of lettuce and grated carrot, 1 small piece of tomato, bit of mayo, and no onion. Nice beef patty but that is about it. Disappointed. ☹

Avoid at all costs. Lady refused us service after our polite request to prepare a burger with salad on the side. Rude with seemingly no passion for customer service.

Came looking for the old takeaways but thought to try anyway. Was pretty disappointed, got a cheeseburger, bacon egg burger, chips & some seafood. Patties weren’t nice and use pre-sliced cheese. Burgers had grated carrot. Wouldn’t recommend. Customer service was moody. Only came because old owners had great quality food.

Myself and some mates rode down to Thames on our bikes and stopped here for a quick break. The lady was very friendly and she served a mean pack of chips. Will definitely visit next time I go down there

We had awesome burgers from Thames Takeaways. They had sold out of fish on the day, but the lady was so friendly and accommodating and made us terrific hamburgers (so tasty) even tho she was closing!!
