Absolutely delightful and professional young nurse took blood early today. Didn’t feel the needle at all so must be experienced. Wait was under five minutes.Great job. Thanks.

I arrived 50 minutes before closing. The number card you need to take were not there. Three staff walked past and did not engage although I stood at the counter. I sought a person out to get a number to be advised that we are not giving any out. A sign being placed would advise patients but no such action taken. I asked where else I could go and told all to busy come back Monday. For a city this size so few clinics open, clearly demand why would you not expand the service. Why would you not engage or at least put a sign up?

What an experience go t a nurse Ivan who didn't listen mistook me for pregnant cause I'm big girl total disrespected me. When I got new nurse to come in couldn't ask for better care Regan is an amazing nurse thank you

The nurse on reception harshly snapped at me as soon as I put my head through the door, giving me a fright, saying there wasn’t enough room inside acting like it was my fault there wasn’t enough chairs inside. She was rude to my support person & asked if they really needed to be there, I felt bad so asked them to wait outside for me, even though I was more anxious than usual because of how we were treated.Several other people came in after me that came straight in & stood around with no seats available, but did not get the same treatment. She was also very aggressive about the hand sanitizer, though I had no time to get to it myself, I always sanitize as I am immune compromised. No one else was told to use sanitizer either.Putting people on edge when they’re about to have a needle shoved in them is cruel. Especially when they can’t have a support person.The East Asian nurse who took my bloods was fine, brisk but friendly enough, got the vein first time, not too painful, which is why I gave three stars rather than one.

Would not recommend this place. The person who drew my blood was coughing and sneezing. A sick person was on call working and drawing blood. She rushed the job and pricked me in the wrong spot. Mistakes happen. What she did after was shimmy the needle around. I am not a trained expert but I could see the vein and she noticed it but chose to poke elsewhere. Do not go here.

I went to the lab this morning for a blood test and was expecting a wait as I know they are overloaded but went straight through and Angie was so lovely, making me feel relaxed. These people deal with hundreds of patients every day but their friendly manner made all the difference, (especially if you're feeling a bit anxious). Thanks Angie!

Seen by the AMAZING Seema! She is, hands down, the best blood-taker I've ever met in my life! Blood tests are traumatic because I have thin veins and get poked up and down, everywhere until I'm bruised all over. Some have had to take from the back of my thumb leaving me very hesitant to go to any labs I'm not thoroughly familiar with. This lovely lady took her time feeling out the veins, had such a kind and empathetic nature, never made me feel like a burden and most incredibly of all, I didn't even FEEL the needle! She was done in two shakes of a ducks tail even though she admitted I was a difficult case. I know who I will requesting next time! Thanks again Sheema! Much appreciated! - TTH

A started to read a book by its cover on the young nurse there, thinking please do not give me her... Well I got her and truthfully she was absolutely awesome. Well done SCL lovely staff thank you.

Went for booked blood test and person taking blood test did not listen to what I was saying and just ignored my support. Then did not give any further advice that would have prevented a further phone call.

Got my blood drawn by a trainee name Claire. Felt a really sharp pain as she was trying to draw my blood, and she kept going in even when I was screaming in pain. I know that accidents can happen sometimes but I have never experience pain as bad as this. The pain radiates to my entire forearms. I felt weak and cold along my entire forearm after that. A more experienced lady came and she did an amazing job getting blood drawn from the other arm on the second attempt and I didn’t flinch a bit at all.
