Great day on the charter with Bryan and his 17+ years knowledge on fishing the Hauraki Gulf on Riko Riko. We fished alongside lots of repeat customers so that shows how good he is at getting you a feed for the family.Fishes mainly with Squid / Pilchards on sturdy overhead reels but you can BYO gear if required. Expect to get your hands dirty. Boat is a bit slow so expect a gentle boat ride as part of the trip out.

If there was an option where I didn't have to give stars then I wouldn't even give a single star. Worst charter ever! Advertising as 8hr fishing trip but 5 hrs is just traveling from baywater jetty (beside Devenport) to Waiheke Island and back. It's so slow it's like watching grass grow! On top of this the doesn't help at all taking fish of or with the bait. There were 10 people onboard and we were made to share 5kg box of pillies between us. The guy has an attitude that if you don't like it then too bad! Will never book him again!
