Picnic Cafe
Can be so busy here, well worth the wait on the weekends. Very organised and helpful staff that work very hard to keep all the customers fed and happy. Food portions are a decent size. Wheelchair and stroller accessible. Washrooms are at the back of the building.

Absolutely delicious soup for lunch today. A delightful place to rest and revive on the walk down from the cable car. A large menu full of choices..so many choices. The coffee is good too

We ordered at 3.20 pm (they are closing 4 pm). Sitting on the table we felt so very much not welcome. They were vacuum cleaning, putting all the chairs up on the table, shouting around, not even trying to avoid any noice or the places directly next so us... they could have said, that they don't want us here.

This is a great Cafe. They are often very busy, but they are extremely well organised. Even though it was fairly full when we got there, ordering didn't take too long, they found us a table and our drinks then meals were served relatively quickly. The food was excellent. And of course, the best part is this is set in lovely botanic gardens.

It was a really nice place to have lunch.You order and get a number, and then your food/drinks are brought to you.The creamy mushroom medley in particular was delicious.There was a bit of a queue when we arrived, but it moved quickly.

Great food and generous portions at reasonable prices. Super service. Basically the only place to eat in the gardens so is usually absolutely rammed.
