We drove into Murchison, as it was getting late 6.30pm in winter.. and didnt want to carry on to next town and we saw Grand Suites and pulled into there and stayed the night. Awesome clean, quiet rooms.

We stayed with Grand Suites Murchison 20/4/23-21/4/23 and have been throughly impressed by everything! Incredibly friendly and helpful owners, clean, modern, comfortable, spacious rooms, great parking, and nice and close to town. Special mention for the big beds, they're so comfortable! We will absolutely be staying here again. Thank you for everything (especially the Toothbrush!).

Bit disappointed really. Most expensive motel we've stayed at in the last 2 weeks all around the south island, yes its clean and modern but no outside seating, constant power tool noise outside and no small coffee table to relax on the very low couch. Won't be paying g top dollar here again...

Modern, clean, comfy bed, fluffy white towels, extra touches, very friendly owners, easy check in, parking right out the front of the room.. everything that we would want in a great place to stay! Can highly recommend.

Wonderful place to stay when in Murchison. Clean, new and very comfy rooms, plenty of parking on site. Walking distance to town and good views of the valley. Staff was friendly, rooms were absolutely great!

I have stayed in lots of motels for work and this has to be the, most comfortable, cleanest and best motel I have stayed in.Highly recommend staying here, even if it's for a stop over for 1 night.The owners are very welcoming and helpful.

The Grand Suites was a fantastic stay for us. The apartment was in premium condition, and impeccably clean. Bed was super soft and heating excellent. Best accommodation in Murchison. Very friendly staff who gave us recommendations for the area. Would highly recommend.

Excellent two nights stay at this beautiful and modern accommodation during my cycling tour of South Island. Recently renovated, clean, excellent showers, comfy bed. Room has everything I need. There’s guest laundry too. Great location, within walking distance to main street where all the cafes and restaurants are.

We arrived in some disarray after a car accident and could not have been looked after better. What lovely customer care, spacious clean room and frozen meals provided to save us having to go out. We needed to wash our clothes and the washing facilities were great. Thank you so much for looking after us, your motel is a great place to stay. David
