Great customer service. It takes a while for the sign up but that can't be helped. Great pricing.

We have been using National Storage at Hornby for several years. The units are clean and dry. The 24/7 access suits our busy lifestyle well, as we often need to come after hours. We have had excellent service from the office staff, especially Blodwen, who is efficient and friendly and has sorted out our units each time we need.

If you are looking for a safe and reliable place to store your valuable/precious memories then look no further than national storage they are the leading company in New Zealand because they know what they are doing. They will provide you with everything you need. Including box's and tape they even have a trailer for you to use. How great is that. So convenient. Your goods will be safe and secure and dry... And all at a reasonable

Absolutely no help what so ever. Said the compound is secured, had things taken from my unit. They did not do anything about it at all, just keep delaying and denying everything that had happen. Highly not recommended. It has been over 3 weeks since the incident happened, still no update from National Storage meaning that insurance can't be sorted.

Very safe, security fencing and gate code plus easy to see rows so no surprises and very heavy duty shipping containers hard to get into.

Some of their staff are very rud, won't recommend this storage to someone.Better to not pay by credit card, if you put your credit card details on the online form, they deduct the money 1 or 2 days befor next month.At the end ,if someone move out ontime the same date once one month is completed, they have already taken the money for 2nd month and once the money is gone from your account , never come back.Not reliable at all.

$188 has been stolen from my credit card by National Storage and they've made no effort to reverse or return the funds stolen from my credit card. It's illegal credit card fraud and they just don't care or respond to my emails addressing the matter. It's been 3 weeks since the funds were stolen. ANZ and Visa had to launch an investigation after National Storage made no effort to look into the theft of $188 from my credit card. It clearly shows on my credit card statement that the funds were stolen by National Storage, so there is no question as to who stole the money. They had my credit card details on file from when I used to be a customer, even though it is illegal to retain old customer's credit card details. Do not give them your credit card details and especially be careful not to let employees see your credit card number or you'll risk having funds stolen from your credit card also. I had to cancel the credit card after the theft, which caused significant stress for me as I'm away overseas and couldn't get another credit card reissued. With all the credit card fraud and scams these days, it's sad to see this company is as bad as Indian-based scammers.The reason I'm no longer a customer is because I saw too many dishonest and unsafe practices. I'd originally booked a storage unit at Hornby National Storage before moving to Australia. It turned out to be by far the most stressful part of moving. They assured me moving ramps would be available, but on the day I was moving my possessions in, no ramps were available except for rough wooden planks with nails sticking out of them. The woman was absolutely awful and interrupted me to answer other customer phone calls in the middle of dealing with the problems she'd caused for me, so it took ages to resolve. The whole event was so stressful that I couldn't sleep at night in Australia as I was so worried out my belongings in NZ and the lies this company told, so I flew back to NZ (which cost me over $500) to sort out the problems they caused and move my things out of the storage unit because I couldn't trust this place with my car and expensive cameras.As I said, after cancelling my storage unit and moving out, the next month I discovered the credit card fraud of $188. When I complained about the stolen funds from my credit card, I got a rude email back saying I'd have to apply" to have the stolen funds refunded. After filling out the application form to have the stolen funds returned

Happy obliging staff go out of their way to assist.As an NCR tech we have time critical pickup and drop off parts and they are very efficient.
