Northern Union Gastro Pub
Northern Union is about as close as you can get to a British pub in that, unlike most NZ pubs that only cater to one demographic, The Northern Union has people from all walks of society, from tradies, professionals, families and pensioners. It achieves this, (I feel) by having the best service and by bending over backwards to be accomodating to their customers.

Food was alright. Went through to get aomeLunch with the family but the service was not that great looks like they were in too rush when it wasn't even busy. Staff Service needs work need to know how to take orders properly n have smile please.

We ordered kids ham and cheese pizza, the Philly cheese steak roll and the chicken burger for takeaway. When went to pick up the kids meal it didn't have a drink or the Sundae that it should come with so told them and they gave us the drink and sundae. The Philly cheese was not very nice, didn't even finish it. The chips with the burgers were horrible no seasoning on them and just wasn't nice in general. The quality has gone down hill. Not likely going to go back there.

Amazing place for a table of 13 all good got served at same time. Food was top notch! Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were very pleasant when the place got busy for rugby - defo be back! Well done guys!

Nice atmosphere but some of the food needs work. A lot of work. I do realise the pizzas are good though.Its an open kitchen so you can see everything. The chef was eating with one hand and preparing food with another. The Nachos were absolutely terrible. The paper they were served on top of devolved and by the time we realized we probably ate some of it which is disgusting.Below scores are out of 10Customer Service 7Food Quality 5Atmosphere 7Presentation 7Location 8Parking: Parking available.Overall 7Again everyone I don’t like to leave negative feedback. There is a lot of positive in the Northern Union Pub but guys we need to do better.

The steak is delicious. My son likes it very much. The environment is very good. The staff are very enthusiastic. Try other dishes next time.

A great spot to come for a beer or meal, or to watch the footy, or all of the above. Glenn is a great host, and the Northern Union is a great local venue.
