Basically you exit north on a small Hayman Rd just off State Highway 8 and park alongside the road for views of Lake Pukaki and the mountains to the west. Not much of a proper car park here. Around 100 metres up the road there is a small pull in area for probably 5-6 vehicles. Otherwise, just pull off the road where it is safe, then step out and enjoy the scenery and views.

Stunning views of the southern alps and a great place for a picnic or a swim in summer. Lots of car parks and lots of space for camper vans.
