IELTS official Test Centre of British Council (NZ300), NZ

Dont have words to express there service.. really... booked my exam and called them for some name correction and they asked me to email. We did 3 time and no reply and no changes. Test day made correction for name still no changes in name. Called them for name changes after 2 weeks and i have been told everything is good now. After 3 week called them again and still no changes and have not received TRF and it is been nearly 4 weeks. And this was computerised test and supposed to have my TRF certificate in 3 to 5 days.. really.Camera was not working in centre and lady with a lot of experience apparently doesnt know how to talk professionally and she was toooo rude.

In the morning of supposed test day, I received an email saying that the test had been rescheduled. The results for the computer-based test came only 7 days after instead of 3-5 as announced. Worth mantioning the the test itself was OK and I had really positive experience in Christchurch, but the general administration leaves a lot to wish for.

It was the worst experience I ever had . There was no time management or I can say people(examiner) were confused about their work. My Speaking was @ 10.40 and rather than asking me they were just sending to the others who’s timing was 11.15 or 11.30pm. I mean seriously. Then exam also started at 1.45pm instead of 1pm. We were just sitting down there from 11.20 to 1.40pm because of their own problems.

Appreciate for THE WORST EXPERIENCE IN ENGLISH TEST you gave me!! TRANSFERRED ME TO ANOTHER TEST CENTER and didn't reply my email about cancellation and refund! CHANGED MY TEST DATE just two days before the test! CHANGED MT SPEAKING TEST TIME three times! Even WROTE MY GENDER AND OCCUPATION STATUS WRONG after I corrected it twice! NEVER COME HERE TO HAVE A TEST.

There is no one present on 23/05/22 Monday at 10.20AM at the test center, inspite of them having told the candidates to collect our TFR from Mon-Fri 10-2. Moreover, no one is replying when called. What a Shame! No proper responsibility by the center officials!

If I could write a review without a star, I would be more realistic. This school is a DISASTER! It is such a bad experience with the test and results waiting time+issues afterwards,that I don't have words to explain how frustrated I am. They made a chaos with my test booking expecting me to do it on two different locations with 45min in between, then after 3 emails I was moved to another date at the location that had a no heating in the registration room, where I was waiting for 1hour before taking the test, and also in the testing room where I was freezing for 3 hours. The equipment in the room was damaged and I was tested seating on odd chair and desk which was not according to the standards of British Council with a person eating 20 cm away from me! The horror continued after the test, when I was expecting my test results with given due date at my work. I was told that I will have them in 5 days, then when they didn't arrive I was told to wait 3 more days just to realise that they have technical issues" and the results are delayed. You must have an idea how frustrated I am by not being able to send my results on time to the organizations requesting it !?!?The attitude of the staff in the office is far from professional

When I booked for IELTS with British council i was expected some quality and standards but unfortunately i’ve got disappointed when i saw the test center atmosphere. On the day when i took exam the temperature in Christchurch was around 4 degrees . I felt outside the exam center was warmer than inside . It was horrible. I was shivering for entire 4 hours . Including my registration and speaking test . Jackets are not allowed inside the exam hall gaves me a feeling that am sitting in Antartica. Once I finished with my exam i rushed into toilet because i hope i could find some hot water to make my cold shivering hands better .infact the toilet was too dirty which makes me nauseous and the water was ice cold . Examiner had jacket so may be she didn’t felt the cold ,infact she opened the door to have a chat with other lady who came to the exam hall for no reason . They were talking and it gaves a lot of distractions while taking exam. I struggled to type the answers with a shivering hand . I will never ever book a test again with British council . Because i was in hell on my test day . Horrible.
