We enjoy a casual dinner at sunset time... Very relaxed atmosphere with a nice sea view! Super recommend the seafood pizza!

Had lunch for 3, paid nearly $100, and the food was disgusting: the steak was overcooked and tougher than an old boot, the burger buns were cold, the burger meat patty undercooked, and the chips and the wedges were cold. Some of them were completely overcooked and others barely done, making us think that they were re-used". Slow service although it wasn't busy. Utter waste of money. Had an average experience a couple of years ago

A must stop in the historic Hokianga, plenty of maori and colonial history here, great menu and bar, friendly service, plenty or seating areas, ample parking

Waited an hour and a half for food. After an hour the waiter comes out and says they don’t even have our order left in stock so could we pick something else.They arrived half an hour later with the completely wrong order anyway and wouldn’t refund us.Food was ok. Pizza frozen base, frozen seafood. Fish burger had good bit of fish but was light on any other flavour. Service was slow and sloppy

I can’t even any more with this place, feedback has been the same for a while now, yet they wilfully refuse to adapt and improve. After 2 years of giving them chances we have finally run out. You have no idea who the staff members actually are, they clearly don’t want to be there, the menu is obviously too big for the kitchen to cope with as a lot of items are never available, or come out completely differently to on the menu, and after too long a wait. The lack of any background music was weird, and no sound for a rugby game just added to an extremely strange atmosphere. The value for money does not exist, and the wasted opportunity is just too painful to watch. What a train wreck!

Disgusting meal - seafood linguine. Dollop of sour cream on top rendered it almost inedible, had to be scraped off. Was it the regular chef's night off? My husband's burger and chips weren't good either. We're locals so we know it's usually better than this .

Nice waterfront location with good selection of cold beers including a few craft beers and Guinness.The food is relatively expensive for what it is, but there aren’t many food options in this town.
