Lovely place to take the kids for a run round a play, maybe a work out on the equipment they have at the park. The deer and just a massive place for kids to use there energy.

Regularly take the kids here. Deer park on one side, that you can hand feed.Small kids swing, seesaw & spinning equipment. Also some fitness equipment. Field is quite large, so you can enjoy having a run around or kicking a ball.

Good place to feed the fallow deer. Don't bring bread for them.

A great open space for children to run free. Or a place to kick a ball around. The park is surrounded by established mature oaks. On the hillside is a deer enclosure where the deer can be watched.

Couldn't see any rubbish bins by the park, also the playground could have more for younger children to do.

Typical New Zealand sports field that just happens to have a park with deer in it next to it. Deer will come to the fence for a bunch of fresh grass but then disappear. They're not really friendly.

Shame to see the vandalism has had its effect over the years, used to enjoy going here as a kid and getting an close encounter with the deer.

Great place for running around. The deers are in the back. Not visible from far when they are laying in the grass.

My granddaughters from Australia loved been able to feed and pat the deer. We had trouble getting them away. Excellent place to take the kids and it is free.
