The waitress was so lovely. Really enjoyed the lasagne. BYO for wine is great too. We tend to go every month!

Scalinis offers a great environment no matter the occasion. I came for a BYO, birthday party and the staff were very helpful when it came to cleaning up the cans everyone had, even though they do not charge a corkage fee. Great service.

Ordered via Delivery, 1 Fettuccine al Pollo & 1 Garlic pizza bread, pasta was Delicious, but the Pizza bread was more like a Water cracker , so thin it was like eating a thin chip . 3stars for the Fettuccine.

Walked in here expecting the food would be okay since it's next to the beach, must be a touristic place, etc. We ordered a parma ham pizza and a cannelloni. The pizza dough is not homemade, it's bland and undercooked. The parma slices were too thick that it became too salty. The cannelloni was sliced in a chunk and platted as it is, seemed like it was microwaved, topped with mixed salads you get from the grocery, salty and rubbery. The waiter is the only one that deserves 5 stars. He was honest, fun, and hospitable even though they're working on a New Year's Day. Given that we only purchased two dishes, I can't really rate much. Maybe they have other dishes that are worth it, hopefully.

Went for a birthday a little while ago. I ordered the chicken fettuccine, it was flavourless and the sauce was watery. Food the rest of our partychose wasn't any better either. Basically terrible!To top it off we were forced to endure an even more terrible band playing overly loud rubbish. They closed the inside dining room so we couldn't escape the noise.This was once a nice restaurant with good food, unfortunately not the case anymore.We will never return!

My friend and I went to Scalinis and had a lovely meal the staff where very helpful and attentive. We sat in the outdoor covered are but were kept nice and warm as they had heatersIt had a cosy atmosphere and highly recommend it. I cant wait to go again

The experience was soured by the terrible service of the waiter. Initially shared some banter but then started teasing mum when she was trying to say the name of her meal and kept interrupting during family conversation for no reason. The food was good until one of the party had a an allergic nut reaction. Instead of being open to finding out how this might have happened he just refused to engage and said it was impossible (many times over) that the reaction could have been caused in his kitchen ( we had been there for 1.5 hours at this point!) No care shown for the person whose throat was swelling or even trying to identify what it could have been to help avoid this in the future.

I believe in supporting local. I also believe for that support, provide what is on your menu. How dissapointing my pizza was. The delivery was prompt but im guessing its because you couldn't be bothered cooking it fully. The onions were chunky and raw, the cheese barley melted and the what tasted like a $3 pizza base from a school raffle was tastless . The worst $27 I've endured. Things are tough out there so get it together. You call yourself Italian.....I think nor,,!

Had a really lovely meal here. Lovely spot and food was amazing. Must try the mussels! Staff and service was great. Excellent little spot. Fitout could do with an update but hey not fussy for a little local. This place is also on uber eats. Only other down comment would be dessert prices at $10.50 although the serving was large you could share easily.

I've been here a couple of times with my partner and both times I've been thoroughly impressed. For starters, the atmosphere is quite nice. We have sat both in the outside area and inside. The owners have made two nice areas for enjoying your meal. The staff are extremely friendly and accomodating and the food arrives at the table quicker than most restaurants. The prices are slightly cheaper than other similar restaurants. The one thing I was really impressed with though, is the policy that gluten free pizza is available for no extra charge. I don't have an intolerance, but this just struck me as a very kind thing for the restaurant to do for people who usually have to spend a lot more on food. So if you're gluten intolerant, this is a great place for you to go!
