Fence Bros
Bit dismayed by Fence Bros. After agreeing their quote and date to start the works they never showed up. Several phone calls later and not one call back, we decided to get a more reliable contractor to undertake the works. The most annoying part was that we took down the existing fence as instructed by Fence bros so we were left no boundary fence for 4 weeks over xmas. To this day, we still have not heard back from them!My advice is to avoid. I don't normally leave reviews but I felt I had to in this instance...

Fence Bros
Fence Bros excavated and built a retaining wall for my neighbour which is actually on my boundary side of the fence posts - something that was not discussed with me. They dug out my good garden soil in order to build the wall for which I gave permission on condition they replace it when finished. On the one day a week that I was at work they filled the length of my garden to a depth of about 500-600 with bentonite (a toxic material that turns into a heavy clay-like mess). It is heavy and sticky, and will cost me a lot of money to get it removed. They completely disrespected me and my property. I have contacted them three times but they haven't responded. Be wary.Re Fence Bros reply to my complaint: Untrue. I emailed Fence Bros twice and did not get a response. I phoned the office lady saying I would like a reply to my email but still no one contacted me - there was no discussion, I said I would like Fence Bros to come and take the material away please, she said she would talk to Greg. This job was completed in February 2022. I had to get around to cladding my side of the fence which looked unattractive because of the way it was built to suit the client. By that time it was winter and raining and now that I have tried to plant in spring I cannot because of what Fence Bros have filled my garden with.I am not criticising the workmanship of the fence that was done on my neighbour's side. Be aware though that none of the images on their online sites show their own work, they are taken off the web.I was not a difficult neighbour, I gave permission for my neighbours to build on our boundary (but Fence Bros without consultation put the retaining wall on my side of the boundary). I gave permission for them to dig back into my garden to construct a small retaining wall (which should have been on the boundary) - necessary since Fence Bros excavated down on their side. They said my good garden soil would be replaced. I had a right to ask questions along the way since things were not being built in the way the owners had shown me in a 'concept drawing.' Yes Fence Bros did take away a section of my old fence and I acknowledge that and was appreciative at the time. For Fence Bros to say that they replaced my garden soil with soil is a lie. This is not a neighbour dispute. This is something Fence Bros did, the neighbours didn't care what Fence Bros did. I told the neighbours that Fence Bros had put ground up concrete in my garden (that's what I thought it was at the time while it was still dry), the neighbour said, 'Oh sorry about that.' (But basically too bad). Can Fence Bros tell me what material goes in as dry sandy-gritty resembling finely ground-up concrete and once wet and activated, expands and turns into a heavy sticky light grey coloured clay-like mass? That is not any soil I know. Only Bentonite has these properties. If you claim it is not Bentonite then name the material because it is not any type of soil.To label me as a difficult neighbour is simply an attempt to deflect the fact that Fence Bros disrespected my property. I cannot plant my garden. Fence Bros should have done the right thing and taken away the material (Bentonite) that has caused this damage. But Greg Hills refuses to communicate. Fence Bros should compensate me for what I have suffered. I just wanted to plant my garden, instead I have spent a week of backbreaking work digging this material out and had to hire a trailer and pay a lot to dump it. To claim they put soil back in my garden shows dishonesty.

Fence Bros
Pretty disappointed in this company - initial correspondence was great, however getting them to arrange a time suitable for them proved impossible. I always had to follow up with them and it was always so sorry
