Lovely city venue. We were here for a wedding.The lemon, lime and bitters we had was honestly the best one I have ever had. The bar and serving staff were so lovely. Hors d'oeuvre passed around while we had drinks were divine.A lovely space if your wedding is a smaller affair.My only complaint was the air conditioning was not up to the heat of the day and there wasn't enough seating when we were having drinks - a few of us started sitting on the floor because we couldn't handle standing in the heat anymore.

1961 reunion. A venue is surely about staff and attitude.Well they got that wrong. ( not the old fellows, the staff).Ignorant, overweight, righteous problem.PS. Here's a situation to ponder. I entered 2 for stars but they've published 4-5 stars.Can't trust much, eh?

High end (ish) private club in Christchurch. Good place for meeting and workshops, they also provide accommodation. There is also a private gym room.

An iconic and historical landmark established in 1872. Attended a private function here and the service was as expected of a high standard. Silver service in the traditional way.

Our xmas table last night - it was a lovely surprise & made the night feel special. The meal was superb as usual.The accommodation is comfortable & the staff make you feel at home
