Great pit stop on the way up to Fieldays. Pies are fab, bacon buttie was good and the bacon and egg McMuffin was brilliant! Oh and you have to try the blueberry muffins!!

Kitchen closes quite early so was a little sad I missed out on the all day breakfast but can understand why and the sandwich I got instead was good. Webt in with low expectations for a last ditch in need of coffee so I was expecting my coffee to be butchered but it’s actually really very nice. Pleasantly surprised! Total Gem!

Dependable spot to stop in for a quality coffee and decent bite to eat. This place isn't trying to be fancy but is always value and busy with a hard working, local team that have been consistently providing a clean, warm place to stop at for many years in a remote rural area whenever passing through. That's why I'm giving it 5 stars. NZ needs more cafes like this instead of bland multi outlet franchises.

We arrived after the kitchen had closed. Sandwiches were still avaliable. However we were treated to hot soup which kept us going on our bikes.

Under new ownership now which is great and the place deserves a visit for a coffee and a snack while travelling. Has two nice clean toilets and the staff are responsive and courteous. Coffee was quite good for a place in the middle of the main town centres.

I can vouch for the chicken salad sandwich and the hot chocolate. I've driven past this little cafe many times without thinking to stop. I won't make that mistake next time I'm passing this way.

Attitude of one staff person very rude....told us she trying to close and made it obvious she didn't want to be there. However the lady who made our yummy toasted sandwich and the young girl were very friendly. There was a steady stream of cyclists, motorcyclists and motorists turned away while we were eating so plenty of business to be had if they wanted it. It was just on 2 30pm not midnight!
