We did a fantastic Milford Sound tour from Te Anau with Isobel. She was informative and entertaining. We skipped the crowds and had great photo stops along the way. Highly recommend.

Fiordland Tours provided an excellent guided experience through Fiordland National Park as well as the Milford Sound. Jaime was an excellent guide and shared facts along the way. We made several stops on the way to the sound and a few on the way back. Loved getting to see a cheeky kea! It was a much more relaxing experience than driving myself. Highly recommend!

Small company and take up to 15 people on very comfortable bus. Our driver-guide was fabulous and stopped at many places the big busses can't. We did a couple of short hikes as well. They did there best for me to see a Kea bird and we did. The boat ride tour included was comfortable and enjoyable. Great value for the money.I highly recommend.

We booked the extraordinaire tour in March 2023 and had an amazing time - our guide Russell had so much local knowledge about the area and shared lots of fun facts. Plenty of great photo stops on the drive over and the Milford cruise itself was stunning. We had a short morning tea break with delicious scones and the packed lunch was great too. Definitely recommend!

We had a fabulous tour led by Stephen this week. He was so kind and knowledgeable and our daughter was very excited to be co-pilot" on the journey. Stephen drove the bus wonderfully

We just loved this tour. We normally drive ourselves & we were worried we'd not have many photo stops & feel rushed. We didn't have to worry, Jonathan our guide & driver was great. We had time to walk & wander & take loads of photos! It was very relaxing. The scones for morning tea were great & we were given a packed lunch to take on the boat. Of course the cruise was stunning! We then had time to meander around Milford & to make more stops on our return ☺️ Highly recommend this tour. 9hrs all up & every minute fabulous! The drive through to Milford Sound is part of the experience..take the time .. don't just rush to the boat!

Jamie our guide and driver was awesome. He knows the area so well and made stops at really picturesque places for us to get the most wonderful pictures. He even knows the whereabout of the KEA birds!! Ray was our point of contact before arriving New Zealand and everything was perfectly organised. The car they used for our private tour was very comfortable. Everything was well planned.

Highly recommendWe were fortunate to choose the full day extraordinaire tour. From pick up to drop off everything seemed effortless & relaxed. Our guide Jono was a wealth of knowledge & due to the small group we were able to stop many times for photo opportunities & even a couple of small walks to see extra sights! The cruise was spectacular as it was raining & the waterfalls were a plenty. So glad we choose this tour, one of the best we've done!!

A totally outstanding experience. Ray the owner was totally on to it. His communication was excellent and timely.Gareth our driver was extremely knowlegable and passionate about Fiordland and what an absolute salt of the earth guy. He made the trip super fun and wonderfully interactive with local stories from his own family history in the region. It was both informative and entertaining.One amazing highlight was a stop for tea and scones in the middle of nowhere overlooking a mountain with a glacier on it. A definite bucket list moment.Because we went on a Monday the group was small (only two couples) and we thought that the trip may be cancelled, but it went ahead and we practically got a private tour.The packed lunch we ordered was really delicious and was catered by a local restaurant in Te Anau ... What a nice touch.At Fiordland, we were linked in with Mitre Peak cruises ...There was no issues with tickets or boarding passes, we simply left the shuttle van, and boarded the boat ...And what an Amazing experience! The crew were professional and courteous and keen to chat. Complimentary coffee and tea was available in the galley throughout the tour and was a warm welcome after being drenched under the waterfall (yup they put the bow under the falls for the adventurous few who wanted to experience the full force of nature)All in all, a completely magical experience thanks to Fiordland Tours.A big shout out to Ray and his fantastic team for one of the best experiences of my life.
