I hadn't shopped here for a good 9 months until yesterday, was really surprised at how empty the shelves are and the bakery does that or operate on Sundays? Very slim pickings ended up going to Fresh choice

It's a big supermarket. This one is slightly different in that it has a pharmacy in the middle of the store. Apart from the it's pretty much the same as most other Countdowns. The carpark has a funny layout, but it's only a problem if you don't have a good ground clearance under your car.

I now know not to shop here all the time! Every time I go, there are a lot of empty shelves. Even the basics are missing. I ended up going elsewhere, and the other supermarkets tend to be well stocked every time I do go there.

Great service. Fresh greens and some good deals, seemed a lot cheaper than the new world. Our son loves the free bananas and fresh fruit to snack on while we shop

We visited this store in the evening and it was battered. There were so many empty shelves and lack of products. I am not sure if that was normal or they had been really really busy. They were filling the shelves and there were boxes all over the floors which made it really difficult to get up and down the aisles. The lady on the till was really nice.

This place has been going steadily backwards over the last 6 months, to the point we’re now driving to Pak N Save Te Awamutu to do our weekly shop. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve returned poor quality goods, or incorrectly priced items.The biggest issue is the lack of stock. It’s worse than any other supermarket I’ve visited, even at the peak of covid supply chain issues.Two stars instead of one is only because the staff are usually friendly enough.
