We tried J&R after having bad some experiences with other local repairers and are so glad we did! Very impressed with Jim's diagnostic skills, nails it every time off the bat which makes everything pretty quick.They are are always easy to deal with, give great advice and do a top repair job at a fair price.Their communication is brilliant, they give you detailed updates explained in a way that us 'non car people' would appreciate. They're reliable, on time and have always charged us a really reasonable rate.Can't recommend them highly enough!

I had one of my motorhome's dual tyres blow out as I was passing through Featherston and Jim's shop was the first I saw so I pulled in. So glad I did! It was going to be tricky for anyone doing this as getting at the spare was not straightforward and I didn't have the correct equipment for it. The staff came up with an excellent workaround and I was back on the road in a lot less time than I was expecting. And the charge was exceptionally reasonable. I was so happy with the service I have booked them to do some other work in a couple of weeks.

Every trip to the garage always makes me nervous, and the first time to J&R Automotive was no different. It was not warranted.What a positive experience!!! From beginning to end it was a delight. I brought my car in shortly after 8 am and I was in a bit of a rush because i had an 830 meeting. They got me checked in quickly and easily. They then drove me home!!! A couple of hours they called me to let me know that they reccomended" additional work. I loved the way they presented the findings. It was not heavy handed or pressuring. They gave me options and allowed me to make the best decison.At the end of the day
