Called Wakefield Electrical regarding a quote for a full re-wire which I went ahead with, two other businesses i phoned never showed up! wifi was cutting out alarming homestays as they had online exams. Had an electrician who waved red rod thing as I thought that an appliance was causing the problem. So fiddled round with points leads plugs etc. His receptionist was helpful but the bill was $165 which I though excessive for a short time looking for the possibly 'faulty' appliances. So I looked up reviews and contacted Wakefield. The nice electrician worked out that the motor for the sewage pump was cutting out and affecting the rest of the circuit so he isolated it and bingo all has been fine and no need to buy amy new appliances the only quibble they were slow sending the bill

Wakefield Electrical gave a competitive quote and turned up promptly. We had a heat pump that needed re-gassing. Patrick (?) was really friendly and helpful and even checked over our other heat pump just to make sure all was ok. No hidden extras, just friendly, honest and reliable guys doing a good job for a fair price. I would highly recommend them.

We've been doing some home DIY and started using Pete and the Wakefield team 6 months ago. They turned up when they said they would, gave some solid recommendations on the right electrical products to use (and supplied them), and in general did all they could to fit into our time constraints. The work was completed to a high standard, and the invoice was well itemised and fair priced. We've used Pete's team again since then, and will continue to do so as we work our way through the home.

They were a no show at an agreed appointment. Technician called 20 mins late to advise he was late!! I cancelled their appointment. If you can't turn up on time for the initial meeting....it sets a bad precedent. The one star is generous.

Very Very disappointed in the service i experienced with Wakefield. Bad communication, they sent their apprentice out and he was not confident with the job he needed to do. I have been told the job should have taken about 4 hours to do but it took them 12 hours and 2 people to complete. I have been charged for the extra time it took their apprentice to do the job.

A massive thanks to Pete and his lads at Wakefield electrical who installed our ventilation system.The guys he sent around were friendly and polite and did a decent job. We had some issues after the installation but Pete was highly professional with his handling of the situation and made everything better. It is for this reason specifically that I was compelled to leave a review, as this kind of attitude doesn't come around often.On top of all of this, they were quite competitive in terms of pricing.As a result, I would certainly recommend Wakefield Electrical to anybody. I am sure they will be our first port of call again in the future.
