We had a fantastic overnight heli biking trip up at Kelly's Hut. We had our bikes dropped about 200m up from Heather Jock hut (1500m line) on our way up to Kelly's hut. Making the most of the Heli access, we took lots of food and wine and stayed up there overnight. The next morning we hiked back to our bikes (took us about 2 hours at a slow pace) and then biked out. Overall, it was an awesome experience. The hut was fantastic and well supplied and it was great to cook using the fire! Track to get back down to the bikes was bit loose in places but we took our time and enjoyed the great views. Bike down was fast and good fun. Dan and Christine were lovely, well organised and made trip planning really easy. Would highly recommend!

Our plan A to stay at the hut couldn’t go ahead unfortunately due to poor weather conditions but Dan and Christine were able to help us figure out a plan B which turned out awesome and we still got a great experience with a heli hike on Mt Alaska. Dan provided us with some knowledge of the area and tips on what to do to maximise what we got out of the hike. Very happy with our experience! Looking forward to coming back to experience the mountain hut. Amy & Micheal

I would highly recommend this hut we had a great stay in August with a fantastic guide Jeremy. The hut is really well set up, the views are amazing and I can't wait to go back
