Four Square Akaroa
The main supermarket in Akaroa. Very small with narrow isles. Sufficient for the residents of Akaroa I suppose though it gets very crowded during holidays with visitors and tourists. It will probably have most of your basic supermarket needs.

All you could need from a supermarket in a small town however clearly due to distance, prices are slightly higher than you would expect from the city.Limes pictured slightly tongue in cheek as I’m sure this was priced wrong. Staff seemed to keep the tills moving at busy times when we visited. Not going to add it to a must visit list however you probably will if you are here for any length of time.
